The cycle route has been a long-standing wish of the village residents, particularly those with children at Lytchett Minster School.
This is a major project and due to the estimated costs of around £500,000, Dorset Council have not taken it forward.
The Parish Council is working with local landowners to see if we reduce some of that cost and to build it in stages.
We need significant funding by way of grants and village support is fundamental to being able to apply for this.
