DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the A35, UPTON BYPASS between the slip roads to and from the A350 overbridge, a distance of approximately 600 metres. The notice is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Friday 18 May 2018 and will remain in force for 5 days. The works are programmed to take place on Friday 18 May 2018 between 19.00hrs and 23.59hrs.
This notice will enable Dorset County Council to carry out road marking works.
The signed diversion route will use the slip roads and the overbridge to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.
