Dorset County Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Eddy Green Road, Lytchett Matravers from the junction with Jennys Lane, to approximately outside Arnold Cottage, a distance of approximately 415 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 10th December 2018, between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs. The works are expected to be completed within the one day. This notice is valid for a maximum of 5 days.
This Notice will enable Aplant Lux on behalf of British Telecom safe access to carry out work to restore a customer out of service.
The alternative route which will be sign posted is as follows: Eddy Green Road – Jennys Lane – High Street – Middle Road – Bartoms Lane. The reverse route applies.
