The Parish Council has been looking at solutions to the school parking and crossing problems.
Panel 18 shows the work by Sustrans/Dorset Council. One of the ideas discussed with them by the Parish Council has been to utilise the empty space in front of the
Lytchett Astro in Wareham Road to provide additional off-road parking and a side entrance to the school. The Parish Council have cleared the area so that its potential use can be more easily seen.
The area could accommodate around 25 cars off-road with access for children on to school grounds next to the corner of the playing field straight into the playground.
