The goal of the village environment working group is to development and improvement of village amenities, principally in LMPC control. This includes applying for land transfers from Dorset Council (Youth Hall, Library and Astro / Horse field)
The current focus includes the Recreation Ground area with project such as enhancements to the entrance of Hannams Close, pond restoration, building a storage area between Sports Pavilion & Scout Hut, building Boules/Pétanque Pitches and outdoor table tennis area on Rec, footpath improvements, further development of Library Green between library and pharmacy, replacement of LMPC notice board and Finger post restoration around the village.
