The Big Coronation Picnic
Lytchett Matravers’ Kings Coronation Weekend Sunday 7th May, from 2-7pm
Its going to be a fun packed afternoon to come together as a village
All you need to do is bring a picnic and a comfy chair. We will have the traditional straw bales and big tent, but you can bring your own gazebo too.
As with all festivals, we have musicians and entertainers from the village who will perform across the afternoon. There will be singing and dancing from 2pm, kicking off with a welcome from Chris Manning and his band, followed by a special music and movement entertainment session for 0 to 5’s with Moo Music, with more bands, singers and music across the afternoon.
Other attractions will include face painting, crown making, a bouncy castle, and by popular request, the pop-up bar will be back in the Sports Pavilion.
