Guerrilla Gardener’s Diary: 2nd August 2022

The team carried on up the High Street from Old School Green, clearing verges and kerbs.

There has been some discussion about the usage of OSG. A suggestion was to create informal picnic areas, which did happen in lockdown. We could continue to cut the grass in the centre with access from the rear gate and perhaps allow the rest to grow as a meadow. This would probably need some specific planting to take hold but would delineate the different areas. We could also use more trees or shrubs to break up the space.
