Many members of the community will be congregating at the war memorial on Sunday 14th November for Remembrance Sunday.

Our collective Churches Together group will be conducting a Service of Remembrance in the Village Hall at 10am. However, unlike previous years there is only capacity for 60 people in the VH for this service due to covid restrictions.

The various Scouts, Guides, Beavers and Cadet troops will parade on the green, where the formal community Act of Remembrance will take place by the war memorial from 10:45 through until 11:15.

Anyone who wishes to lay a wreath at the memorial is invited to.

As usual the roads will be closed off and  marshalled for a short time to ensure everyone’s safety (See more on this at https://lytchettmatraverspc.org/temporary-road-closures-around-lytchett-matravers-for-the-remembrance-parade/).

We extend our thanks to all the people that come together to make this community event safe and meaningful for those that wish to attend it.
