Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Flowers Drove, Lytchett Matravers between Castle Farm Road and Lime Kiln Road (in both directions), a distance of approximately 1000 metres. The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 3rd May 2022 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5th May 2022.

This Notice will enable Wessex Water safe access to replace sections of water pipe.

The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: Lime Kiln Road, Castle Farm Road and vice versa. This can be seen on the map in the official notice which can be seen below as an embedded PDF, or by downloading (as a PDF) here.
