As a part of the village centre make-over, we want take the opportunity to establish a ‘Dedication Tree’ scheme for the village. We are going to be placing a number of nice specimen trees around the Lower Rec car park and it would be good to know if there is any interest in sponsoring a memorial tree, or other key assets such as park benches, either with or without a visible dedication plaques.
If you are interested in donating to such as scheme and having a lasting landmark for a loved one, please register your interest with the Parish Clerk by email. We are looking to develop a pilot to see how it might work and will supply more details when they are available.
