This is an update on the Parish Councillor vacancy that was previously posted on 23rd June.
There is still time to apply, as the deadline has been extended. The Council now intends to fill this vacancy by co-option at the Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 10th August 2022.
Anyone wishing to put his / her name forward for co-option, and to receive an application form, should contact the Parish Clerk at the address below on or before Friday 5th August 2022.
Qualification as a Councillor: Candidates should be at least 18 years of age and have resided or worked within Lytchett Matravers or within 3 miles of it for at least 1 year prior to the date of appointment.
If required, the Parish Clerk or any of the present councillors can give advice on the roles and responsibilities of Parish Council members.
