The company who run the Electric vehicle charging at the Recreation car park have changed their name. They are now Mer.
To use the EV charging at the Rec you have the choice to charge your vehicle as a guest user or by registering on their network.
To register with their network, you can download the Mer Connect UK App from either the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Across Dorset there is an expanding network of public charge points to meet the growing demand and help move towards becoming carbon-neutral, and in the next phases of their development, Dorset Council will be putting more charge points in council owned public car parks, and other public locations such as country parks, leisure facilities and tourist destinations.
You can see maps of the locations for other local charging points on both the Mer driver portal and Zap Map portal.
If you have any queries about using the Lytchett Matravers EV charging points, please visit the Mer Charging UK Ltd website or contact their customer services team. You can call any time of day or night on 020 3884 2768 or Email them at hello.uk@mer.eco
