Following a very wet winter and the downpours in May 2021, the paths between Foxhills and The Spinney had become pretty soft and muddy, in fact, for some time they have been virtually unusable. As a result, new path routes have been designed and set out to be more tolerant of the different weather conditions, both to the east and west of the bridge. Work is now complete to the west of the bridge and the team are now working on the other paths to the east of the bridge.
Overall, the paths are looking great and will definitely enhance these walking routes particularly when it starts getting wetter again. If you are not familiar with this area, do check them out – the paths link five different routes around the lower south westerly section around our village.
