Photo of the work carried out near Rocket ParkThe weather looked threatening for a while but still an intrepid group got together. They carried on hacking and clearing along the border near Rocket Park which resulted in four large bags of bramble cuttings for the tip. As this area is cleared there is lots of space for re-planting and perhaps choosing this site for a tree as part of the Queen’s Canopy initiative. The edge of the path has been partly mowed and we will aim to keep that width for the future. This is a new area in that it was all cleared about 3 years ago when the leylandii was taken down. Brambles don’t take long in getting established.
