School Walk is the lane from Eldons Drove to the back of the school playing field. The Parish Council are still trying to get this open as a school entrance because it is part of the ‘Safe Walk to School’ route. Use of this path would reduce the bottleneck at the bottom of Eldons Drove and along Wareham Road where the path is barely 3 feet wide.
It was also a good place for the GGs to work in the heat. We started at 8.30 and mainly in the shade and the walk was cleared on both sides in 2 hours.
