For the purpose of VenFest Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This notice will:
- Prohibit the use of New Road, Lytchett Minster between its junctions with Dorchester Road and Post Green Road by cyclists, horse riders and all mechanically propelled vehicles, except those taking part in the event and emergency vehicles;
- Impose a temporary south bound one way restriction on Post Green Road between its junctions with Dorchester Road to the access road to Lytchett Minster School.
This notice will be introduced on Saturday 4th May 2019 between 09:00 hrs and 18:00 hrs. The purpose of this notice is to ease congestion for vehicles travelling to the festival site.
