It is with great regret that we have accepted the resignation of our long-standing parish clerk Tim Watton, who will step down from the role on October 31st. Tim has been the parish clerk for nearly 18 years, having started in that role in February 2006.  In that time he has served with at least 6 different chairs and has overseen a huge number of changes in the village, including the transition of LMPC from a traditional paper-based activity to embracing the digital age.

With the growing size of the village, the number of activities that the LMPC are involved with has increased significantly and Tim feels that it is now the moment to take a more relaxed approach to life as he approaches retirement.  I am sure that you join with us, and Parish Councillors both past and present, in wishing him the very best for the future.

We are advertising for a new Parish Clerk. Please get in touch via lytchettmatravers@dorset-aptc.gov.uk.or visit the DAPTC website for more detail about this role.
