Dorset Council has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Foxhills Road from the vehicular entrance to Meadowfield to a point approximately 50 metres south (in both directions). The Notice is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users.

Please note that this description, and the map below, have been amended slightly for accuracy.

It will come into operation on Monday 23rd August 2021 and will remain in force for five days. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 24th August 2021.

This Notice will enable Wessex Water to carry out works on their manholes.

Alternative routes will be sign posted, as indicated by the blue line on the map shown below in the (updated) notice.

For further information about the work being undertaken, call Wessex Water on 0345 600 4 600. To discuss this Notice, call Dorset Highways Traffic Team on 01305 221020 or email trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.
