It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh at the age of 99. As consort to Queen Elizabeth II, he was at her side throughout the last 69 years supporting her in her duties as sovereign in the UK, the Commonwealth and all over the world.
Lytchett Matravers Parish Council and our residents send their condolences to the Queen and all her family.
In commemoration the flag at the War Memorial will be flown at half mast until after the day of the funeral.
