Started at 8.30 today because of the very warm weather. The main team focused on weeding around Old School Green and up the High Street to the Youth Hall car park. They also cleared the car park fence line.
It’s a shame that the green space at Old School Green doesn’t get more varied use. There was a brief time during lockdown where it acted as a picnic spot when we couldn’t really go anywhere else. It would be good to know what residents think about the use while still respecting the memorial area itself.
