Carrying on from last week, the team cleared gutters and pavement sides from Turbetts Close towards Old Chapel Drive. The pavement end at the corner of Frys Close was effectively extended by a couple of feet. The GG target roads are those in the village centre, but where do you stop at a road junction? So we did clear some kerbs in Castle Farm Road; to just stop would have looked odd. We know that Dorset Council no longer clear gutters effectively, so a village initiative to clear your own gutter would have a major impact.
