Dorset Council have received an application from R. Moore Contractors to close part of FOXHILLS ROAD, LYTCHETT MATRAVERS in the vicinity of Foxhills Farm, for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The closure has been requested to allow R. Moore Contractors to make an excavation across the road for a connection to the main sewer. These works are programmed to take place between Monday 13 May and Friday 17 May 2019.

R. Moore Contractors will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The map in the official notice (below) shows the extent of the closure (in red) and the diversion route (in blue).

This is for information only, however if you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact John Alford, by Tuesday 01 May 2019.
